William Boye York, Sr

William Boye York, Sr., 60, of North Charleston, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, in St. George.

William was born October 14, 1949, in Pueblo, CO., the son of Raymond York and Harriette Mangum York.

He was a boilermaker and welder.

Surviving are two daughters - Angela Holston and her husband, Augustus, of Goose Creek; and Nicole York of Mt. Pleasant; a son - William B. York, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; 2 grandsons - Luke Ethan Holston and Lawson York; and a granddaughter - Jessica Stanley. He was predeceased by his wife, Helena York; and a daughter - Jamie Stanley.

Funeral services will be private.
