William Harry Plank

W. Harry Plank, 65 , of Bonneau, died Thursday morning, March 4, 2010, in a Charleston hospital.

Harry was born March 30, 1944, at Madison, Wisconsin, the son of William Randolph Plank and Jenevieve Langer Plank. He was retired from the U.S. Navy Submarine Service as an Analyst and Technician, having served in Viet Nam and in both Gulf Wars.

He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Bonneau.

Surviving are his wife –Joann Plank; a daughter – Lynn Goodwin and her husband, Randy, of Woodstock, AL; a son – Michael Epperson and his wife, Donna, of Hoover, AL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother-in-law – Hugh Murphy, Jr. and his wife, Opal, of McCalla, AL; and his 2 beloved dogs – Little Buddy and Little Boy.

His funeral service will be in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Bonneau, Saturday morning,
March 6, 2010, at 11 o’clock. Interment will be in Berkeley Memorial Gardens, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel between 6 and 8 o’clock Friday evening.
