Wayne Mills

Elwood Wayne Mills, known by everyone as Wayne, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, in Macedonia at the age of 68. Born on July 24, 1956, in Moncks Corner, he was the son of the late Joseph Elwood Mills and Lois Gloria Caddell Mills.

Wayne is survived by his children, Stephanie Mills and Joseph Mills, as well as his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brady, and Claire Mills and great grandchild Nicholas Hamilton. He will also be remembered by his siblings, Juanita Mills Caddell, Gloria Mills, Marlene Mills Farmer, Wilma Mills Hammond, and his brother Allen Mills, along with many nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by a daughter, Melanie Laura Mills, sister, June Mills Moore and brothers, Donald Mills, J.E. Mills Jr. and Raymond Mills.

Throughout his life, Wayne was a proud and dedicated Iron Worker. Outside of work, Wayne nurtured a passion for helping others, exploring new destinations, embracing the beauty of nature.
