Wallter Leonard Jackson Jr.

July 11, 1980 — September 18, 2010

Walter Leonard Jackson, Jr., 30, of Pineville, equipment operator for Santee Cooper, husband of
Melody Yates Jackson, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, in Williamsburg County, as the result
of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Leonard was born July 11, 1980, in Charleston , the son of Walter Leonard Jackson, Sr., and Norma Cross
Moore.

Surviving in addition to his wife and his father, are his mother and step-father, Jack Moore, of Pineville; daughter – Alissa D. Jackson; step-daughter-
Nikkie Yates, both of Pineville; sisters – Angela Jackson; Jeanine Moore; Tonya Greer; grandmother – Juanita Cross of Cross;mother-in-law-Terry Moore;father-in-law-Scott Moore; and many other extended
family members.

Leonard enjoyed hunting, riding ATV’s, and spending time with his children.

His funeral service will be at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Wednesday, September 22, 2010,
at 12 noon. Interment will be in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cross. Friends may call at
RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, this Tuesday evening between 6 and 8 o’clock.
