Travis Kyle Jackson

Travis Kyle Jackson, 19, of Moncks Corner, son of Robbie Mixson and Tracey Mincey Mixson, died Saturday morning, March 28, 2015, as the result of injuries received in an auto accident.

Travis was born August 18, 1995 in Columbia.

He was a graduate of Berkeley High School where he had been co-captain of the Varsity Wrestling Team. Travis was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and was employed at Atlantic Building Components and Services Company.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers – David Tyler Jackson and Robert Benjamin Mixson IV; four sisters – Amanda Jackson; Laura Lynn Mixson; Kayla Faye Mixson and Melanie Claire Lanier; grandparents – R. B. Mixson and Bernice Mixson; and grandfather – DeWitt Hinson. He was predeceased by his grandmother – Gracie Hinson.

Travis’ funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2015, at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel, between 6 and 8 o’clock Monday evening.
