Thierry Pascal Longueville, 58, of Moncks Corner, husband of Lisa Garman Longueville, Community Banker at Farmers and Merchants Bank of South Carolina, passed away at his home Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Thierry was born July 14, 1963 in Périgueux, France, to Andrée Dezemery Longueville and the late Robert Paul Longueville. They immigrated to Jamestown, South Carolina in the 1960’s and have resided in the area since.
Thierry was a member of Berkeley High School Class of 1981, where he graduated salutatorian. Those who went to school with him may fondly recall that he also entertained many during football games as “Berkeley Man.”
He was a proud graduate of The Citadel, Class of 1985, Echo Company. He loved his classmates dearly and enjoyed attending their many reunions. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Thierry enjoyed riding his bike every morning, and his favorite way to spend an afternoon was cutting his grass, playing with the family dog, and taking trips to Walmart to collect model cars.
Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, a great son, and an amazing father. He will truly be missed.
His is survived by his mother Andrée, his wife Lisa, and his two children, Katherine Marie Longueville and Michael Robert Longueville as well as his third child, his beloved dog, Walker “W” Longueville. Thierry is also survived by his large extended family, the Garman's of Hampton, SC, and his dear friend Kimberly Brewer, and his brothers-by-choice Carl Hood and Kelley Crawford.
The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel in Moncks Corner on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Moncks Corner on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
