Susie (Ulmer) Bell

Mrs. Susie A. Bell, 94, wife of the late Charles H. Bell, Jr., entered into rest March 10, 2021, at her residence after a period of declining health. She was a daughter of the late Pinkney Kershaw Ulmer and Daisy Bell Metts Ulmer.

Surviving are nine of her children; twenty six grandchildren; fifty nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends that loved her very much, we will miss her and are saddened by her passing.

A charter member of Oakley Road Ministries, Susie’s life reflected her unwavering faith in God. Though we weep at the loss of her earthly presence, we rejoice in knowing that she is with the Lord.

Susie was a great cook, loved life and discovering her many talents and was even self-taught in several of them.

Her funeral service will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Sunday March 14, 2021 at 2 o’clock. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, Old Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1 o’clock until the hour of service.
