Sherrill Diane Nixon

Sherrill Diane Nixon, 60, of St. Stephen,wife of Harmon Edward Nixon, died Tuesday, February 7, 2010, in Trident Medical Center, North Charleston.

She was born October 21, 1949, in Wyandotte, MI, the daughter of Leroy Franklin Goudy and Kathleen Fern Arnold Goudy.

Sherrill was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter - Frances Kay Nixon of St. Stephen; a son - LeeRoy Edward Nixon of St. Stephen; 5 grandchildren -Krystal L Nixon; Brian K Ford II; Diana M Nixon; Tabitha A. Nixon; Dustin L. Ford; 2 great grandchildren- Anthony L. Nixon; and Frances M. Ford; a brother - David Goudy and his wife, Christine, of MI.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, February 12,2010, at 2:00 P.M. in Victory Baptist Church. Interment will be in Hood's Chapel
Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel Thursday evening between 6 and 8 o'clock and at the church Friday from 1:00 P.M.until the hour of service.
