Shelton L. Shealy

February 20, 1941 — June 15, 2010

Shelton Lester Shealy, Sr. 69, of Bonneau, widower of Virginia Cooper Shealy, died
Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at his residence.

Shelton was born February 20, 1941, in Berkeley County, the son of Lester Shealy and
Myrtle Wyndham Shealy.

He was a retired employee of the Berkeley County Garage and had served with the
U. S. Army during the Vietnam era.

Surviving are a son – Shelton L. “Shel” Shealy, Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Macedonia; a
daughter - Jaime Cooper and her husband, Jason, of Kingstree; a brother – Gregg
Shealy and his wife, Wanda, of Macedonia; 4 sisters – Faye Morris and her husband,
Vernon, of Macedonia; Colleen Winningham and her husband, Lewis, of Moncks Corner;
Yvonne Cumbee and her husband, Calvin, of Bonneau Beach; LeeEtte Brazell and her husband,
Alvin, of Florence; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a
sister, Bevelyn Knotts.

His funeral service will be held Friday morning, June 18, 2010, at Hickory Grove Pentecostal
Holiness Church at 11 o’clock. Interment will be in Macedonia Christian Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL , Moncks Corner, between 6 and 8 o’clock
Thursday evening and at the church from 10 o’clock until the hour of service Friday morning.

Memorials may be made to the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Benevolence Fund, 1778 Bethera Rd., Bonneau, S.C. 29431.
