Ruth Hilton Jones, 90, of Bonneau Beach, widow of Ottis Murdic Jones, died
Friday, in a Summerville nursing home.
Her funeral will be at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 17, at First Baptist Church of Bonneau.
Interment will follow in Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL
CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 6 until
8 o'clock Saturday evening.

Mrs. Jones was born September 27, 1918, in Kershaw County, a daughter of James Hoyt
Hilton and Bernice Elliott Hilton.
She was a retired school teacher from Charleston County. She was a charter member of
Cooper River Baptist Church and now a member of First Baptist Church of Bonneau where
she was a member of the Keen Club. She had taught sunday school classes for 35 years
and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are three daughters - Rosalind Holmes and her husband, Sonny, of St. Stephen;
Joyce Eubanks and her husband, Robert, of Georgetown; and Deborah Ruth Jernigan and
her husband, Keith, of Goose Creek; two sons - Robert Ottis Jones and his wife, Bernice, of
Maryland; and Murdic Hoyt "Dick" Jones of Bonneau; 17 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter - Rev. Nan Davis.
