Rosemary Guerry Jones

Rosemary Guerry Jones, 73, of Bonneau, wife of Jerry Lynn Jones, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her son's residence in Summerville.

Mrs. Jones was born August 30, 1940, in Charleston Heights, S.C., daughter of Edward M. Guerry and Mary Caison Guerry.

She was a graduate of Lander University School of Nursing, later working with Roper Home Health Care and other medical facilities until her retirement in 2002. Mrs. Jones was a Roman Catholic.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter - Debra Howard and her husband, Chris, of Summerville; two sons - Darrell Jones and his wife, Kelly, of Summerville; and Kevin Jones and his wife, Michele, of Austin, Texas; 4 grandchildren - Angela Jones, Amanda Jones, Adam Troy Evans, Jr. and his wife, Rebecca; Ashley Curran and her husband, Ben; and 3 great grandchildren; a sister - Barbara Beach of Bonneau Beach; and a brother - Edward Guerry, Jr. of North Charleston.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Russell Funeral Chapel Friday afternoon, March 7, 2014, at 2 o'clock. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel from 1 o'clock until the hour of service. The family will also receive friends at the home of Darrell and Kelly Jones, 106 Rundle Lane, Summerville, S.C., between 6 and 8 o'clock Friday evening.
