Ronald V Spivey

Ronald Virgil Spivey, 76, of Cordesville, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.

Ronald was born January 16, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida, a son of John Spivey and Laura Mae DeLoach Spivey.

He had been a longtime contractor and builder for both residential and commercial construction. His exceptional quality work was in high demand throughout the Tri-County area, especially in Moncks Corner. He enjoyed Nascar, motorcycles, four wheelers and University of Georgia football. His favorite pastime was retreating to his home in the mountains.

Surviving are his former wife of 47 years, Magdalene Spivey; three children- Rhonda Spivey Yonce and her husband, Jeff, of Moncks Corner; Robin Spivey Brown and her husband, Kevin, of Bonneau; Ron Spivey and his wife, Charlene, of Manitou Springs, Colorado; ten grandchildren- Chase Yonce, Tradd Yonce, Kennedy Yonce, Logan Spivey; Easton Morris, Ethan Spivey, Jayden Spivey, Sullivan Spivey, Ruben Spivey and Jackson Spivey; two brothers and one sister. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a grandson- Ashton Spivey; two sisters and a brother.

A private service will be held in North Carolina at a later date.
