Robert Carlisle Wyndham, 82, of Moncks Corner, former iron worker and farmer, widower of Virginia Jolly Wyndham, died Friday, April 7, 2017.
Robert was born February 17, 1935, in Berkeley County, the son of Calhoun Wyndham and Gertrude Morris Wyndham.
He was a member of Iron Workers Local 601 for 60 years. A graduate of Macedonia High School, he was a member of Moncks Corner Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
Surviving are his daughter – Robin W. Williams of Moncks Corner; two granddaughters – Victoria Lynn Weisinger and her husband, Zachery, of Augusta, GA.; and Katie Virginia Allen of
Moncks Corner; great granddaughter – Katherine Isabelle Weisinger; sister – Jean W. Varner and her husband, Wayne, of Moncks Corner. He was predeceased by his brothers - William A. "Billy" Wyndham; F. E. Wyndham; and Lagee Wyndham; and sister - Dianne W. Turbeville.
His funeral service will be held in Moncks Corner Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Monday morning, April 10, 2017, at 11:00 o’clock. Interment will follow in Berea United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Sunday afternoon, April 9, 2017, between 5 and 7 o’clock.
