Robert Eugene Dupree

Robert Eugene Dupree, known affectionately as Robbie by his loved ones, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Charleston, at the age of 51. He was born in Berkeley County on March 13, 1973.

A dedicated worker, Robbie retired as a heavy equipment operator from Santee Cooper, where he had been employed for many years.

He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time at the beach. These activities brought Robbie not just joy but also opportunities to create long-lasting memories with friends and family.

Robbie is survived by his wife, Shelly Spence Dupree, beloved daughter, Harley Ann Dupree, brothers, Andy Dupree and Randy Dupree (and his wife Tiffany) and Edward Bryant(and his wife Maggi), sister, Katelyn Wells, stepmother Sarah Dupree, stepfather Don Wells, and a close-knit circle of aunts, uncles, and extended family. Robbie was predeceased by his parents, Bobby Gene Dupree and Katheryn Cox Wells, and a brother, Matthew Dupree.
