Richard "Ricky" Wayne Seay, Jr.

Richard “Ricky” Wayne Seay, Jr., 61, of Moncks Corner, passed away on January 29, 2023, in a local hospital.

Ricky was born on January 7, 1962, in Charleston, the son of Irma Wrenn Seay and the late Richard Wayne Seay, Sr. After graduating from Berkeley High School in 1979, Ricky perfected his trade and became a master welder which afforded him the opportunity to travel the world including Puerto Rico and Cancun, and throughout the United States. His family and friends knew him as “a good ole country boy” who was fun-loving. He enjoyed cooking for large groups of friends, spending time with his trusty companion, Marley, and time spent outdoors, fishing and boating while listening to his all-time favorite, Bob Dylan.

Ricky is survived by his mother. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rusty Seay.

His funeral Service will be held at Russell Funeral Chapel, Monday afternoon, February 6, 2023, at 2 o’clock. Entombment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1 o’clock until the hour of service.
