Richard William Wiggins, Sr., 77, of Ridgeville, S.C. entered into eternal rest Saturday March 6, 2021.
Survived by his wife Violet Jane Williams Wiggins of Ridgeville; step son- Kenneth Kubischke and his wife, Sharon, of Ridgeville; sisters- Lynda W. Martin and her husband, Ronald, of Macedonia and Sadie W. Odom and her husband, Fred, of North Charleston; sister in law- Barbara White and her husband, Henry, of Summerville; two grandchildren- Cayla of Texas and Erica of North Charleston; four great grandchildren- Ava and Kelry of Canada, Zoey of North Charleston, Lily of Texas; many nieces, nephews and family members. Richard is predeceased by his parents Gilbert W. and Sadie Dehay Wiggins; brother- Gilbert Wiggins; sister- Betty Jo Clark; son- Richard W. Wiggins, Jr.; daughter- Margaret W. Lloyd; great grandson- Trevor.
Richard was employed as a crane superintendent with Limehouse and Sons of Ladson, SC. He loved his work and the great people around him. He was a member of the Omar Shrine and spent hours working and supporting their many fundraising events. Richard served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was very intuned to his faith as a member of Sandridge First Baptist Church. A warm and giving person, who gave of himself and his talents in so many ways and loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held in the Sandridge First Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at 1 o’clock, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel. The family asks that everyone attending the service, please respect the current COVID-19 rules of social distancing.
