Richard Perpruner

Richard Lewis Perpruner, 76, of Ladson, widower of Gail Caldwell Perpruner, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, in a North Charleston nursing home.

Mr. Perpruner was born November 11, 1937, in Hibbing, Minnesota, the son of Andrew Perpruner and Romola Bertelli Perpruner.

Following service in the U.S. Navy, he had been an employee of General Electric. Mr. Perpruner was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons – Richard Kevin Perpruner and his wife, Eva, of North Charleston; and Troy Rhett Perpruner of Dorchester; three grandchildren – Robert James Green; Richard Rhett Perpruner; and Darlene Jada Perpruner. He was predeceased by a brother – Eugene Perpruner.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, MONCKS CORNER, Thursday evening, April 24, 2014, at 6 o’clock. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL for one hour prior to the service (5 – 6 PM).
