Peggy Czarnecki Guthrie

May 8, 1944 — December 21, 2017

Margaret Joan Peggy Guthrie, of Bonneau, widow of Charles Edward Guthrie, passed away December 21, 2017.

Peggy was born in Clearfield, Pa., a daughter of Henry Theodore Czarnecki and Christine Sass Czarnecki.

Having obtained a Masters Degree in Art Therapy, Peggy loved painting, reading, writing poetry, intellectual studies of the weather and astrology. After moving here from Pennsylvania, she fell in love with the state of South Carolina and enjoyed visiting and painting many of our historical sites. She loved her cat “Nora”, cooking out, and watching Jeopardy.

Surviving are two daughters- Jane Wilder and her husband, Dave, of Woodbridge, Va.; Andrea Guthrie of Moncks Corner; four sons- Henry Guthrie of DuBois Pa.; Charles Guthrie and his wife, Martha, of the Netherlands; Aaron Guthrie and his wife, Mayumi, of San Diego Ca.; Dennis Guthrie of San Diego, Ca.; four grandchildren- Kristi, Graham, Claire and Kanon; a sister- Patrice Case of Naples, Florida; two nieces- Elizabeth Case of New York; Emily Ayers and her husband Michael and son Theodore of Philadelphia, Pa.
