Peggy Ann Coker Gagne`, 77 of Goose Creek, wife of Richard Gagne` Sr., passed away Wednesday June 9, 2021.
Peggy was born July 5, 1943 in Lake City, SC, the daughter of Benson Covington Coker and Juanita Hamilton Coker.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Peggy was a wonderful homemaker for her family. A member of Carnes Crossroads Church of God, Peggy had worked for Goose Creek Parks and Playgrounds. She had a special pet named Cooper and he was “the dog of her life”. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters- Tammy Brown of Georgia and Cynthia Barrineau, of Goose Creek; a son- Richard Gagne`Jr. and Annie Copley, of Hanahan; grandchildren- Matthew Brown and his wife, Melanie; Jason Brown and his wife, Christina; Matthew Barrineau and Katelyn Gagne`; great grandchildren- Bailey Brown, Gwendolyn Brown, Jarett Brown, Michael Brown and Avery Brown; brother- Ben Coker and his wife Paulette; special nephew- Mack Coker and his wife, Julie; special niece-Stacy Coker. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by a brother- William Coker and a sister- Betty Olds.
Her funeral service will be held at Carnes Crossroads Church of God, 1341 State Road, Summerville, Saturday morning June 12, 2021 at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner, SC, 29461. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 o’clock until the hour of service.
