Patsy Louise Maness Basobas, 76, of Goose Creek, a homemaker and former CNA, wife of 50 years to Asterio Basobas, Sr. passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019.

Patsy was born December 19, 1942 in Delta, Utah a daughter of Zannie and Hugo Nidoy and Franklin Maness.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Patsy loved her family dearly but is was no secret that she loved her grandchildren more than she loved her own children. She enjoyed taking care of the babies in her very large family, she loved her pets, shopping, fishing, scary movies and coffee. She was the glue that kept her family close and will be sadly missed by them all.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five children- John R. Cammer, Jr.; Pamela Cammer; Suezanne Foot and her husband, Philip; Asterio R. Basobas, Jr. and his wife, Joanie; Zenaida B. Anderson and her husband, Locke; 20 grandchildren- John R. Cammer, III (Christy); David E. Cammer; Steven M. Cammer (Mischele); Amber Cammer (Jeremy); Megan Cammer; Codey Ward-Stewart; Courtney Murphy; Brandi Murphy; Fred W. Cribb (Maria); Christina F. Cribb (Travis Jones); Lyndsay D. Pires (Jeremy); Michael Foot; Sara B. Cammer; Seline B. Cammer; Asterio R. Basobas, III; William Joseph Joshua Basobas (Mary); Cara Wesley Smeigh (Neil); Aubrey Beth Lennon (Carey); Kaz Anderson (Deidre) and Braxton Ryals (Josh); 21 great grandchildren- Xavier Cammer; Saige Cammer; Sophie Cammer; Brandon Prince; Nathan Miller; Jackson Wade Morley; Tilson Morley; Sadie Ward-Stewart; Zendaya Thomas; Nova Cribb; Finley Parsons; Jeremy Pires, Jr.; Jasmine Foot; Cameron Foot; Kalique Foot; Kenley Smeigh; Kai Smeigh; Kohen Smeigh; Kate Smeigh; Kane Kaleb Anderson; and Madelyn Ryals; a sister- Sandie Kaplanis; two brothers- Danny Maness and Kenneth Maness. She was predeceased by a daughter- Samantha Cammer Basobas.

Her funeral service will be held at Chaparral Free Will Baptist Church, 365 Domingo Dr. Moncks Corner, Friday morning November 22, 2019 at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel Thursday evening November 21, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30.
