Patrick Wayne Melton

Patrick Wayne Melton, 51, of St. Stephen, husband of Suzanne Brand Melton, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Patrick was born November 1, 1966, in San Diego, California, a son of Patricia Roberts Melton and the late Delmas Wayne Melton.

A huge presence in the world of animal welfare for over 23 years; Patrick managed the staff and volunteers at an animal sanctuary in St. Stephen.

“His heart was bigger than all the outdoors”. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and the animals he so lovingly cared for.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are- two sons- Jeremy L. Melton of St. Stephen and Joshua L. Melton and his wife, Chrissy, of Dallas, Georgia; two granddaughters- Angel and Trinity Melton; a brother- Robert Melton and his wife, Suzann, of Moncks Corner; two sisters- Vickie M. Taylor and her husband, Brian, of Moncks Corner and Regina M. Hyman and her husband, Jason, of Goose Creek; many nieces and nephews.

All services will be private.
