Patricia Solomon CHARLESTON - Patricia Elizabeth “Tish” Solomon, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, after a brief illness. Tish was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina on June 24, 1959, the third daughter of the late Robert Southern Solomon, M.D. and Patricia Power Solomon. In 1978, she graduated from Ashley Hall School in Charleston. She obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University in 1982. After attending paralegal school and residing for a time in Savannah, Georgia, Tish returned to Charleston to continue her career as a paralegal, most notably for Barnwell Whaley Patterson & Helms and George Kefalos, P.A., and most recently for Rogers Townsend, LLC. Throughout her lengthy career in the legal field, Tish was loved by her co-workers, many of whom became dear friends. Tish had a special place in her heart for animals and had many beloved pets over the years. In addition to her dog, Bean, she is survived by her sister Amelia Solomon Waring, and brother-in-law, Bradish J. Waring; nieces, Amelia Waring Walker (Will), Mary “Molly” Waring Caughman (Joe), and Louisa Waring Gilliatt (Tim); and seven grandnieces and grandnephews. She is further survived by her uncle, Donald Power, of Moncks Corner, many cousins and dear friends who were like family. A celebration of Tish’s life will be held at a later date.
