Patricia Sue Floyd

Patricia Sue Floyd, 79, of Springfield, TN, formerly of Moncks Corner, widow of Don B. Floyd, passed away on September 29, 2022, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Patricia was born November 13, 1942, in Washington, DC, the daughter of Howard Desch and Hildreth Chauncey Desch.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia was a wonderful homemaker and a devoted employee. She loved the Lord and was very active in the church prior to her illness. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Surviving are her five children- David Floyd and his wife, Susan; Sandra Conley and her husband, Chris; Jeffrey Floyd and his wife, Jennifer; Bryan Floyd and his wife, Mary; and Faith Floyd; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Christopher Floyd.

Her funeral service will be held at Cordesville Baptist Church, Thursday afternoon, October 6, 2022, at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Wednesday evening, October 5, 2022, from 5 to 7 o’clock.
