Pansie Brown Marks, 77, of Moncks Corner, widow of Rudolph L. Marks, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at home.
Pansie was born March 11, 1939, in Butler, Georgia, the daughter of Earnest Brown and Celia Peacock Brown.
She was a homemaker and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter - Angela D. Owens and her husband, Donald, of Bonneau; two sons - Richard Marks of North Carolina and Robert E. Marks and his wife, Margie, of Summerville; two granddaughters - Rosemary Marks and Allie Marks. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter - Rebecca Owens.
Her funeral service will be held at Maranatha Baptist Church, Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 2017, at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Maranatha Missions Fund, 453 Mano Street, Moncks Corner, S.C. 29461.
