Ollie Rhode Hilton Shuford

OLLIE RHODE HILTON SHUFORD, 83, of Summerville, SC died on Saturday, July 24, at her residence.

Mrs. Shuford was born on November 3, 1926, in Berkeley County, the daughter of Wilson D. Rhode and Vivian Boykin Rhode.
She was first married to the late Carl E. Hilton and was the widow of Ray S. Shuford.

Mrs. Shuford was a faithful member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She loved her family, gardening, and working in her yard
and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by three daughters: Brenda H. Orvin and her husband, John (JY) Orvin, Jr., of Sandridge Community; Cindy H. Ritoch and her husband, Paul,
Of Mill Spring, N.C., Donna H. Tomlinson and her husband, Steve, of Mill Spring, N.C.; One son, David C. Hilton and his wife Susanne, of the Lebanon community;
Two sisters, Pauline R. Dupree and Mary R. Dupree of Summerville, S.C.; One Brother, Hilly Rhode of Moncks Corner, S.C.;
Four grandchildren, John Y. Orvin, III, Russell Hilton and his wife Beth, Audrey B. Tomlinson and Tim Hilton; One great grandchild, T. J. Hilton.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 26, 2010, at the New Hope United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, on Sunday, July 25, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
