Elbert Griffin “Mike” Feaster, 80, of Moncks Corner, husband of Frances Clark Feaster, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Mike was born August 10, 1941, in Florence, South Carolina, a son of Treze D. Feaster and Winifer Jones Feaster.
He served with the US Army, and later founded Colonial Sheet Metal in the early 70’s. Once retired he continued to work his craft, creating range hoods for Berlin’s Restaurant Supply. Mike was a member of St. Johns Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher. He loved going to church and thoroughly enjoyed time spent fishing and hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons- Ricky Lee and his wife, Tammy, of Summerville; Michael Feaster of North Charleston; Timmy Lee and his wife, Gerri, of Charleston; Matt Feaster and his wife, Karen, of Ladson; Jack Lee and his wife, Sharon, of Ridgeville; seven grandchildren- Amanda Hamlet and her husband, Jimmy; Patrick Lee and his wife, Rachel; Jordan Lee; Trenton Lee; Carson Lee; Ethan Feaster; Preston Feaster; three great grandchildren- Madyson Hamlet, Dylan Hamlet and Emilia Hamlet.
His funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, November 3, 2021. The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel from 1 o’clock until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
