Michelle Wiggins Cook, 45, of Macedonia, wife of Quentin Cook passed away January 7, 2021.
Michelle was born March 24, 1975 a daughter of Gary L. Wiggins and Susan Litchfield Wiggins of Macedonia.
Owner of Cook’s tax service, Michelle was the former Records Retention Specialist for Berkeley County Government. She received an Associate’s Degree in accounting from Trident Technical College in 2019, graduating Suma Cum Laude and was a National Honor Society member of PHI THETA KAPPA.
Michelle served her church and community faithfully in several roles. She was the Assistant Children’s Director at Oak Grove PH Church as well as the American Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator for Oak Grove and Berkeley County Government. She taught Vacation Bible School and Sunday School at Providence Baptist and Oak Grove PH, also serving as Assistant Treasurer at Providence. Michelle was the former Treasurer and Vice President of the Bonner Elementary School PTO and the Election Clerk for Berkeley County Voters Registration in the Macedonia Precinct since 2010.
Michelle was a faithful and devoted wife, mother and daughter who enjoyed weekend getaways with her family to the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. She enjoyed sitting on her porch with her family, loving where she lived and never allowing her smile to waver. One of the most special moments for Michelle was graduating from college in 2019 the same year her daughters graduated from high school; this was an amazing accomplishment considering she did this while battling cancer and working full time. Michelle loved “planting seeds” of her faith to everyone she came in contact with to tell them about her hope in the Lord.
