Michael Will Hood

Michael Will Hood, 47, of Macedonia, employee of Landmark Construction, passed away, February 13, 2018.

Michael was born November 16, 1970, in Charleston County, son of the late Roosevelt Mike Hood and Janice Bilton Hood.

A member of Macedonia Christian Church and a 1989 graduate of Macedonia High School, Michael loved sports on all levels. He coached children in the community for many years, including his two sons; when they went on to play high school ball, he was their biggest fan. He was passionate about personal training and working out and was a huge Washington Redskins fan. He was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his kids and taking his daughter on date nights. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are Diana Hood of Macedonia; two sons- Josh Hood and Ryan Hood of Macedonia and a daughter- Sarah Grace Hood also of Macedonia; a niece- Meagan Mitchell Brown and a grandson on the way. Michael is predeceased by his parents; two sisters-Robin Renae Griffin and Melanie Dee Hood; a nephew- Randy Shane Mitchell.

Michael was loved and supported by a special group of lifelong friends- Quentin Cook, Will Brunson, Gary Thompson, Duane Crawford and Joe Dougharty.

A service will be held at Macedonia Christian Church, Sunday afternoon,
February 18, 2018 at 3 o’clock. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until the hour of service.
