DAY, Michael Ethridge, 51, of Moncks Corner, U.S.Marine Corps, Retired, and
husband of Debra Eckroth Day, died Friday at a Charleston hospital.
His graveside funeral service will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, at Fort Jackson National
Cemetery, in Columbia. Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, from
7 - 9 P.M. Wednesday.
Mr. Day was born August 23, 1955, at Seattle, Washington, a son of Charles Day
and Jewell Theobold Day Berger.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and had served in
the U.S. Marine Corp during the Gulf War.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his mother and his step-father, Robert Berger,of
Apache Junction, AZ.; 2 brothers - Charles "Lucky" Day and Ricky Day, both of
Mt. Lake Terrace, WA.; 2 sisters - Sharon Foley and her husband, Pete, of
Marietta, GA; and Sondra Day of Mt. Lake Terrace; a step-brother - Robert Berger
Jr. of Everette, WA; a step-sister - Sheri Byersdorf and her husband, Butch, of
Everette; 4 step-daughters - Karen McGill of Moncks Corner; Bonnie Lee of
Summerville; Michele Ramsey of Olympia, WA; Crystal Benson of Nampa, Idaho;
2 step-sons - Christian Kilpatrick of Moncks Corner; Clinton Benson of Pensacola,
FL; and 6 step-grandchildren.
