Melody Dawn Yates Jackson

Melody Dawn Yates Jackson, 33, of Summerville, widow of Walter Leonard Jackson, Jr., passed away Friday, January 9, 2015, in Myrtle Beach.

Melody was born August 11, 1981, in Charleston, the daughter of Scott William Moore and Terry Ann Yates Moore.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a son – Paul Clarke, Jr; two daughters – Elizabeth Nicole Clarke and Alissa Jackson; grandmothers – Joyce Moore of Keys, OK; and Jenelle Yates of Lincolnville; four sisters – Melissa Yates; Melinda Yates; Crystal Moore; and Christian Moore; and two brothers – Scott Moore, Jr. and William Moore.

A memorial service in Melody’s honor will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, MONCKS CORNER, Tuesday evening, January 13, 2014, at 7 o’clock. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 7 o’clock.
