Melinda Ann Legette

Melinda Ann Legette, known as Melinda to her family and friends, passed away peacefully at her home in Macedonia on February 15, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on June 27, 1979, in Charleston, S.C., Melinda was the daughter of Homer Steve Legette and Barbara Dick Guerry.

As a loving mother and grandmother, her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her sons, William Starkey and Liam Legette, and her adored grandchildren, Annie Mae and Kayce. 

She also enjoyed being outside in her yard tending to flowers she would plant when she had the opportunity.

Melinda will be missed by her surviving mother, Barbara D. Guerry and her husband Rusty, her grandfather Bobby Dick, and her circle of friends and relatives. Her father and her grandmother Betty Dick, alongside her partner Wayne Mills, preceded her in death.
