Maywood McKinley Gaskins, 56, of Macedonia, a self employed contractor, passed away Wednesday, September, 16, 2015.
Maywood was born June 28, 1959, in Berkeley County, a son of Maywood Gaskins and Betty Jean Britt Gaskins.
Maywood was the Battalion Chief for the Santee Circle Rural Fire Department.
Surviving are 2 daughters- Misty G. Shuler (Jesse) of Jamestown; Tosha J. Gaskins (Daniel Springs) of Bethera; 2 sons- Elliott L. Watson (Nikki) of Garrard, Ga.; Charles M. Watson (Ashley) of Cleveland, Tn.; one sister- Betty G. Mixson (Ray) of Moncks Corner; 6 grandchildren- Tori Shuler; Persaeus Springs; Maximus Springs; Layla Gaskins; Elliott Watson; Ethan Watson. He was predeceased by a son- Jesse McKinley Gaskins.
His funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Saturday afternoon, September 19, 2015, at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow in Halfway Creek Cemetery, 8121 Halfway Creek Road, Shulerville, S.C. 29453. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
