Maxine Crawford

September 6, 1925 — May 30, 2009

Maxine Osborn Crawford, 83, of Bonneau, widow of Warren Crawford, passed into
eternal rest on Saturday morning, May 30, 2009, at a St. Stephen nursing home.


Mrs. Crawford was born September 6, 1925, at Hemingford, Nebraska, the daughter
of Tom Osborn and Viola Hiner Osborn. She was a former dispatcher with the S.C.
Forestry Commission and a former employee of the Bonneau post office.


She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonneau, her favorite pastimes being
gardening, reading and fishing.


Surviving are three daughters - Jean Bowen and her husband, Ray, of Bonneau;
Tomalie Harris; and Elaine Mitchum and her husband, Winfred, of Columbia;
Bill Crawford and his friend, Susie, of Columbia; and Jim Crawford and his wife,
Bonnie, of Columbia; a brother - Vernon Osborn of Amarillo, Texas; 12 grandchildren;
and 21 great grandchildren.


Mrs Crawford's funeral service will be at 11 o'clock Monday morning, at RUSSELL
FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel from 10 o'clock Monday morning until the
hour of service.
