Mary Zeigler Sullivan

Mary Ursule Zeigler Sullivan, 87, of Moncks Corner, wife of Darr Fred Sullivan,
died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Sullivan was born October 20, 1922, in Elloree, S.C., a daughter of John William
Zeigler and Mary Frances Long Zeigler.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner and had retired from the
Veterans Administration hospital in the medical records department and as a switchboard
operator. She was a graduate of Elloree High School. Being avid dancers throughout the special time that they shared their lives, Darr and Mary would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2010.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are their children: Darr Fred Sullivan, Jr., and his wife,
Nancy, of Pass Christian, MS; Jim Sullivan and his wife, Marilyn, of Renton, WA; Pat
Durlach and her husband, Ira, of Midlothian, VA; Michael Sullivan and his wife, Rose
Anne, of Six Mile, SC; and Darlene Sullivan Younginer of Wilmington, NC; a sister –
Beulah Talbert of Moncks Corner; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by 2 grandchildren and 6 brothers and sisters.

Her funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, May 29, 2010, in First Baptist Church of
Moncks Corner, at 3 o’clock. Interment will be in Berkeley Memorial Gardens directed by
RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel
between 5 and 8 o’clock, Friday evening.
