Mary Ruth Brinson Hood

Mary Ruth Brinson Hood, 78, of Bonneau, died May 24, 2002, in a Charleston hospital.

The funeral was held May 27, 2002, in Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, was in Bonneau Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hood was born October 18, 1923 at Berkeley County, SC, a daughter of Rennie Brinson and Annie Causey Brinson. She was a member of the Bonneau Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was the widow of Howard B. (Teddy) Hood, Sr.

Surviving are two sons-Sonny Dreher of St. Stephen; Howard B. Hood, Jr.,of Bonneau; Four Daughters-Mary Pipkin of St. Stephen; Julia Ann (Sissy) Cypess and Dolly J. Ward both of Bonneau; Four Sisters-Betty Yount of Bonneau Beach; Mary Ayers and Eunice Jackson both Moncks Corner; Evelyn Paige of Bonneau; Six Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren
