Marty B. Fort

Martin Banks Fort, Jr. (Marty), 56, of Macedonia, S.C. died Sunday, February 26 at his home.

Marty was born October 13, 1955, in Charleston, S.C., the son of Martin Banks Fort, Sr., and Gertrude Ann Welch Fort.

He had been a sheet metal mechanic in construction most of his life.

Surviving are his wife – Monica Timberlake Fort – Two Sons – Martin B. Fort III of Macedonia and Benjamin A. Fort and his wife, Kimberly of Macedonia – his Mother, Gertrude W. Fort – Two Brothers, Thomas Fort and Timothy Fort – One Grandson, Richard Benjamin Fort. He was predeceased by his father, Martin Banks Fort, Sr. and his brother Richard Fort.

A memorial service will be held at the home, 1048 Walter Road, Bonneau, S. C. at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2012.
