Martha Fox Sullivan

Martha Fox Sullivan, 98, of Moncks Corner, widow of Grover E. Sullivan, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Martha was born October 1, 1919, in Parkers Ferry, a daughter of Perry Murphy Fox and Juddie Mae Youngblood Fox.

Martha was a living history book, she was a generous spirit with a sharp mind and quick wit. She enjoyed playing canasta and sitting on her front porch at Sullivan’s Landing greeting fishermen and duck hunters. She will be sadly missed.

Surviving are a special and faithful niece- Martha Chandler of Moncks Corner; nephews- Tony Hills and his wife, Nancy, of Mt. Pleasant; John Hills and his wife, Karen, of Summerville; a special great niece- Grace Martin and her husband, Patrick, of Virginia Beach; great great niece and nephew- Hannah and Murphy Martin; many very special friends and loved ones, including Sonny Gunn.

Her graveside service will be held in Fox Cemetery, 2834 Wesley Grove Road, Cottageville, SC 28435 Thursday morning, March 22, 2018 at 11 o’clock. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Wednesday evening, March 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 o’clock.
