Marjorie Cornor

Marjorie H. Cornor, 85, of Moncks Corner, wife of G. Dale Cornor, died Tuesday morning at her residence.

Mrs.Cornor was born May 8, 1924, in Erie, PA, the daughter of George H. Herdman and Margaret Breyer Herdman.

She was a member of the Seventh- day Adventist Church and was a retired nursing administrator.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter - Deanna Cornor Reigel and her husband, Ron of Moncks Corner; a grandson -
Don Bolinski of Columbia; and a granddaughter - Lauren Bolinski of Columbia.

Her grandson, Don, shares a message about his "Grammy": "Today the world lost one of the kindest souls to ever grace it. I am sure few, if any of you, met my grandmother. But she was the world to me. She skipped 7th and 8th grade. She had two masters degrees. She played Scrabble and Uno with me. She was the smartest and most humble person I ever knew. She died this morning, and a part of my life is missing some sunshine."

Her funeral service will be on Thursday, February 4, 2010, in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1243 Route 402, Moncks Corner, Thursday afternoon, February 5, at 4 o'clock. The family will receive friends at the church between 2 and 4:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), 12501 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring MD 20904.
