Marilyn (Mastin) Morrison

Marilyn Mastin Morrison, 89, of North Charleston, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Born on February 7, 1933, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Robert and
Isabel Mastin.
In her earlier years, Marilyn was a member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and a
devoted homemaker who greatly enjoyed caring for her family. She graduated from Ridgewood High
School where she was the Head Majorette and later attended UNC Charlotte and received a degree in
English Literature. Marilyn loved the English language and had a passion for reading and writing.
She is survived by her two sons- John C. Morrison, III and his wife, Anita of Brownsburg, IN, and Robert
Morrison and his wife, Mary of Rockhill, SC; two daughters- Corinne Brittle and her husband, George of
Cross, SC, and Marilyn E. Morrison of Naples, FL; one brother- Robert Edward Mastin, Jr; seven
grandchildren- Johnathan, Sean, Jessica, and Josh Morrison, Elizabeth Edon, Katie Diekhaus, Owen, and
Thomas Brittle. She is predeceased by her former husband, John C. Morrison, Jr.
