Marie "Anita" Petty Bertolini

Marie "Anita" Petty Bertolini, 79, of Moncks Corner, widow of Joseph J. Bertolini Jr., passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017.

Anita was born December 28, 1937, in Birmingham, Alabama, a daughter of Millard Filmore Petty and Emma Wilkes Petty.

She was a retired LPN, a Mary Kay Sales Director, and a US Air Force Veteran. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she loved her pets, especially her beloved dog, Sophie.

Surviving are three sons- Joseph J. Bertolini III (Lauren Coleman) of Waynesville, OH, John F. Bertolini (Lynn) of Helena, AL, and James A. Bertolini, of Marienville, PA; a daughter- Angela M. Waller of Moncks Corner; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the caring and professional staff at the Elms Life Care Center of Charleston for their outstanding care and attention to Anita during her last days.

The family will receive friends at Angie's home in Overton Subdivision, Sunday July 2, 2017 from 5-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Food Bank of First Presbyterian Church, 419 West Main Street, Moncks Corner. S.C. 29461
