Marguerite L. Whitfield

July 28, 1917 — January 31, 2010

Marguerite Lillian Whitfield, 92, of Bonneau, died Sunday morning,
January 31, 2010, in a local nursing home.

Marguerite was born July 28, 1917, in Charleston, a daughter of James W. Whitfield and Lillian Ford Whitfield.

She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church where she had served as treasurer for over 34 years. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and had retired as a sales clerk from Barron's Department Store.

Surviving is her brother-in-law, Clyde E. Berry of Moncks Corner, and many friends. She was predeceased by a sister - Kathleen W. Berry and two brothers - Frank Whitfield and James Whitfield.

Her funeral service will be held in RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2010, at 2 o'clock.
Interment will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery. Friends may call at Russell Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 1:00 P.M.until the hour of service.
