Lynn Nettles Geren

Lynn Nettles Geren, 69, of Moncks Corner passed away
Saturday evening, October 1, 2016, in a Moncks Corner nursing home.

Lynn was born April 13, 1947, in Berkeley County, daughter of Roland E. Nettles, Sr. and Evelyn Russell Nettles.

She was a graduate of Berkeley High School and Winthrop College prior to teaching high school English for a number of years. She was a member of Moncks Corner First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her daughter - Renee Geren Tornincasa and her husband, Vincent, of Marietta, GA. - sister - Margaret Nettles Pipkin of Chester, VA; brother - Roland E. Nettles, Jr. of Moncks Corner; brother-in-law - Clark Simpkins, Sr.; 3 grandchildren - Olivia Tornincasa; Adam Tornincasa; and Elizabeth Tornincasa; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son - Kevin Charles Geren; and a sister - Betty Nettles Simpkins.

Lynn's memorial service will be held in First Presbyterian Church of Moncks Corner on Thursday morning, October 6, 2016, at 10 o'clock. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Episcopal Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, between 5 and 7 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2016.
