Lorine B Brinson

Lorine B. Brinson, 90 of Bethera, widow of Hugh Brown and Eddie Brinson passed away on Friday evening at her residence.


Mrs. Brinson was born on February 18, 1919, in Berkeley County, a daughter of William Houston Bishop and Mary (Mamie) Litchfield Bishop.


She was a homemaker, a wedding cake decorator and a loving mother and grandmother. She was the oldest surviving member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bethera.


Surviving are: one son - Glenn Brinson and his wife, Ann, of Florida; seven daughters - Jean Sebastian and her husband, Jack, of Greensboro, N.C., Pat Pierce and her husband, Cecil, of Bethera, Lynn Brown of Andrews, June Forte and her husband, Wayne (Bobo) of Falcon, N.C., Cindy Forte of Bethera, Shirley Moore and her husband, Ivan, of Easley, Linda Michalove and her husband, Mike, of Florida; One brother, William (Junior) Bishop and his wife, Ruby, of Canadays; one Sister - Leoris Mosley of Hampton; 26 Grandchildren; many great and great/great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brinson's funeral will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, May 25, 2009 at Russell Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bethera, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. Friends may call from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 3060 Witherbee Road, Cordesville, SC 29434
