Lillie Mae Marlowe Harrelson Richardson, 92, of Humble, Texas, formerly of Moncks Corner, first married to the late Carl Harrelson and widow of J. B. Richardson, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in Humble, Texas.
Mrs. Richardson was born February 9, 1919, in Dothan, N.C., the daughter of John M. Marlowe and Lula Holmes Marlowe.
She was a graduate of Tabor City High School and Conway Hospital School of Nursing, having retired as a LPN from Conway Hospital. She was a member of Pinopolis United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother; a very religious person, she made a lot of difference in many peoples’ lives.
Surviving are two daughters – Jeanette Lawrence of Humble, TX; and Linda Nelson and her husband, Phil, of Humble; a brother – Paul Marlowe of Longs, S.C.; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 sons – Larry Harrelson and Bill Harrelson; a grandson – Jimmy Brasher; and siblings – Arthur Marlowe; J.N. Marlowe; Clifton Marlowe and Reuben Marlowe.
The funeral service for Mrs. Richardson will be in Pinopolis United Methodist Church Saturday morning, October 22, 2011, at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow at 3 o'clock in Camp Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery in Loris, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner.
The family will receive friends at Russell Funeral Chapel between 5 and 7 P.M. Friday.
