Lenora Murray Pierce, 81, of Bethera, retired LPN, wife of Lewis K. Pierce, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Mrs. Pierce was born April 14, 1936, in Georgetown, a daughter of Edward Murray and Hortense Wilder Murray.
Mrs. Pierce was a dedicated wife, mother and nurse. She enjoyed cooking and being outside as well as volunteering as a teacher’s aide or wherever she was needed.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children- Phil Pierce and his wife, Patti, of Summerville; Steven Pierce and his wife, Michelle, of St. Stephen; Terri P. Cox and her husband, Rusty, of Moncks Corner; Stewart Pierce and his wife, Stephanie, of Bethera; five grandchildren- Josh Pierce; Kristen Pierce; Lauren Tucker; Bradley Pierce and Ryan Pierce.
Her graveside service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Bethera, Monday morning, July 17, 2017, at 11 o’clock. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL Sunday evening, July 16, 2017 from 5 to 7 o’clock.
