Lela Mae Crosby, 90, of Moncks Corner passed away Wednesday, November 7, at the home of her daughter. She was the widow of Judson Fred Crosby and they were married 68 years before his passing in 2012.
Mrs. Lela Mae was born November 10, 1927 in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, a daughter of Arthur North and Lena Brussard Foster.
She was a member of St. John’s Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Lela Mae was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts and gardening. She was an amazing cook and friend to anyone in need.
Surviving are 4 children – Tholan (Tessie) Crosby of Corpus Christi, TX; Glen Crosby of Moncks Corner; Marlo Infinger (Hayward Wiggins) of Goose Creek; Ronald (Lisa) Crosby of Moncks Corner; 10 grandchildren – Wade (Toni) Crosby; Mike (Andrea) Crosby; Troy (Heather) Infinger; Billy (Tonya) Crosby; Larry (Jennifer) Infinger; Josh Crosby; Roxanne (Kenny) Goodwin; Alyssa (Josh Barlow) Crosby; Tammy (Mike) Sanders; and Tracie (Garrick) Alexander; 19 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, John C. Foster; a son, Gene Crosby and his wife, Lynn; son-in-law, Jim Infinger; and granddaughter, Tricia DaSilva.

Her funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, Sunday afternoon, November 11, 2018, at 3 o’clock. Interment will follow in Berkeley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Saturday evening, November 10, 2018, between 5 and 7 o’clock.
