Kathy Ann (Cox) Wells

Katheryn Ann Wells, 73, of St. Stephen, wife of Don S. Wells, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021.

Kathy was born September 9, 1948, in Williamsburg County, SC, the daughter of Johnny L. Cox and Lillian Cox.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Wells graduated from St. Stephen High School and retired as an Executive Administrative Assistant from Santee Cooper. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are three sons- Robert Dupree and his wife, Shelly Spence Dupree; Andrew “Andy” Dupree; Joseph “Randy” Dupree and his wife, Tiffany Dupree; one daughter- Kaitlin Ann Wells; three grandchildren- Harley Ann Dupree, Connor Dupree and Carigan Dupree. She was predeceased by a son- Matthew Dupree.

A graveside service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Friday afternoon, December 31, 2021, at 1 o’clock, directed by Russell Funeral Chapel.
