Kathleen Thomas Carson Hodge, 82, of Bonneau, a homemaker, first married to the late Glenn Carson beloved husband for 42 years, widow of Jasper Hodge, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2017.
Kathleen was born February 5, 1935, in Berkeley County, a daughter of Clifton Thomas and Lois Outen Thomas.
A member of Georgetown Church of God, Kathleen loved gardening and was known for her pristine home and yard. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are two sisters-Thelma Mitchum and her husband, Jim, of Bonneau; Beatrice Still of Moncks Corner; one brother- Kenneth Thomas and his wife, Rosa, of Ladson; a step-son-Silas Hodge and his wife, Karen, of Awendaw; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers- Mark Thomas; Jr.; Carl Thomas and one sister- Ernestine Conover.
Her funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Sunday afternoon, February 12, 2017, at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Cemetery, Charleston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 o’clock until the hour of service.
