Joyce Rudloff Hyrne

HYRNE, Joyce R., of Moncks Corner, retired Santee Cooper employee, and widow of Claude W. Hyrne, Sr. died March 3, 2011, at her residence.

Born April 12, 1929, in Moncks Corner, she was the daughter of Clarence N. Rudloff and Mamie Caddell Rudloff.

Mrs. Hyrne was a member of First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner.

Surviving are three sons – Claude W. Hyrne, Jr.; Richard A. Hyrne, Sr.; and Russell E. Hyrne, all of Moncks Corner; three granddaughters – Angela L. Cope of Canyon County, CA.; Whitney Hyrne Weslowski of Green Cove Springs, FL; and Hannah A. Hyrne of Moncks Corner; three great grandchildren – Gage A Lindsley; Hayden A. Weslowski; and MacKenzie L. Cope; a sister – Julie R. Yaeger and her husband, Mike, of Bonneau; and a brother – Clarence N. Rudloff, Jr., of Panama City Beach, FL; and her caregiver of 10 years – Renee Flanagan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Claude W. Hyrne, Sr., and her grandson, Richard “Rally” Hyrne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2011, in St. John’s Baptist Church in Pinopolis, at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in the church cemetery directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
