Joseph MacBay, 62, of Thornley Subdivision, Moncks Corner, S. C., died Thursday, September 2, 2010, from injuries sustained in a moped accident.
Joe was born July 23, 1948, in Kearny, NJ, a son of Joseph David MacBay and Helen Therese McConville MacBay.
He was a 1967 graduate of Kearny High School, Kearny, NJ. Joe was employed at CR Bard in the Santee Circle community, Moncks Corner. He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Kearny, NJ.
Surviving are his ex-wife, Madelyn E. Kozodoy MacBay Kreyer of Phoenix, AZ,; children - David Joseph MacBay (Tiffany White-MacBay) of Phoenix, AZ;Yvonne MacBay Vail (Scott Vail) of Phoenix, AZ; and Eryn Rae Holmes of Moncks Corner; and seven grandchildren: Nolan Anthony Pavelich; Cassidy Grace Pavelich; Milan Garrett Pavelich and Levi Hunter Vail; Zackary Ian MacBay; Jacob Travis MacBay and Lucas Dylan MacBay; two brothers - Kevin Sebastian MacBay of Cedar Bluff, AL; and Brian David MacBay of Moncks Corner; and a sister -
Sharon Therese MacBay Miller of Cedar Bluff, AL. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; and three wives-Camilla Russo MacBay; Frankie Lisenby MacBay and Peggy Busekros.
A memorial service for Joe will be held Thursday evening, September 9, 2010, at 7 o'clock in Russell Funeral Chapel. His visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
